The surf conditions at Hikkaduwa are better suited to surfing than swimming at the start and end of the season. Snorkeling is also available from Hikkaduwa.

Depart today for Weligama on Sri Lanka’s south coast. Another popular destination for surfing, Weligama boasts soft sandy beaches and a range of breaks suitable for surfers of all levels. Afternoon at leisure to experience the local surfing conditions.
A full day of leisure to explore the beaches and breaks around Weligama. Your vehicle and driver will be on hand to hunt down the best beaches in the area. Alternatively, you can head to Mirissa and join a whale watching tour (direct payment).

Travel further eastward on Sri Lanka’s south coast to your next destination – an ideal beachside retreat where the focus is surfing and yoga.
