01Arrive Colombo – Kotugoda

Welcome to Sri Lanka. You will be met upon arrival and transferred to your accommodation, The Wallawwa, a 15-minute drive. This beautifully restored colonial manor house is stylish and quiet just outside the airport

02Kotugoda – Wilpattu

Depart to Wilpattu National Park on a journey of around three and a half hours. This is the largest and the oldest national park in Sri Lanka, popular due to the high prevalence of Sri Lankan leopards. Its unique setting with sand-rimmed natural lakes and diverse wildlife makes it furthermore attractive. Your stay here will be at Leopard Trails bespoke tented safari camp with spacious and well-furnished tented accommodation located close to Wilpattu National Park. Enjoy an afternoon safari with an expert ranger inside Wilpattu National Park.


Rise early this morning to explore Wilpattu National Park with your in-house ranger. Early mornings are a great time to visit the park as animals become active before the heat of the day. Return to your accommodation and be at leisure remainder of the day.

04Wilpattu – Anuradhapura – Sigiriya

Depart to the area best known as the Cultural Triangle. You have the option of stopping at Anuradhapura en route. The ancient political and religious city of Anuradhapura – known as ‘The City of Kings’ is a UNESCO World heritage site. Continuously inhabited for over two millennia, it was the seat of power in Sri Lanka until constant invasions forced to move the capital further south. Proceed to your accommodation in Sigiriya, Water Garden, a lovely boutique hotel inspired by the gardens of Sigiriya Rock Fortress with stunning views.


Rise early this morning to visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress before the heat of the day. Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO Heritage site. This colossal Rock Fortress, also known as ‘Lion Rock’, is possibly Sri Lanka’s best-known attraction and one of its biggest drawcards. Remainder of your day is at leisure

06Sigiriya – Madulkelle

Depart to Madulkelle for your tea plantation stay. This stunning lodge is situated amongst the picturesque mountains best for a few days of relaxation and indulgence

08Madulkelle – Balapitiya

Full day at leisure to lie by the pool and soak in the sun. Your vehicle and driver-guide available if you wish to explore the area instead.

10Balapitiya – Depart Colombo

Drive to Colombo’s International airport today for your departure flight, a journey of around two hours.
